Daily average based on a 3-day rolling average. The 3-day "rolling" OPIS retail average is based on reconciled credit card transactions, direct feeds of data and other survey methods. The 3-day average includes transactions received by OPIS for the immediate three business days prior to the publishing of the average. Because of the way credit card receipts are reconciled, a few additional transactions may be received for the dates that already comprise the 3-day average. Minor fluctuations in the actual average may occur as a result.
